A LITTLE MEAL INSPIRATION
Three simple examples. Clear portions. The numbers for every meal.
These are meal ideas, not personal targets. Match portions to your own plan rather than choosing the lowest-calorie day. These restrictive examples have not been assessed for nutritional completeness; get appropriate clinical guidance before an aggressive fat-loss phase.
All totals are estimates using the exact products and serving values in the food guide. Your package label takes priority. No cooking oil, sauces, drinks or extra toppings are included. Log any additions separately.
EXAMPLE 01
Familiar meals with a little crunch.
Spoon into a bowl and serve chilled.
Prepare the chicken and cauliflower according to their packages. Combine and melt the cheddar over the top.
Cook the tuna and vegetables according to package directions. Serve the ready-to-eat gravlax alongside.
Portion into a bowl or take the unopened bag with you.
EXAMPLE 02
Simple bowls and easy portions.
Stir the powder into the yogurt. Add a little water if you prefer a softer texture.
Heat the cauliflower according to its package and melt in the cheese. Serve the ready-to-eat salmon on top.
Prepare both according to package directions and serve together.
An easy snack with no preparation.
EXAMPLE 03
Larger protein portions across the day.
Mix until smooth, adding a little water as needed.
Cook chicken and cauliflower according to their packages. Combine and top with the cheese.
Prepare the tuna and vegetables according to package directions. Serve on one plate.
Serve the ready-to-eat salmon with the chips for crunch.
Use these combinations for ideas. Your plan may need more food, different portions or other ingredients. Swapping brands changes the totals, even when the foods look similar.
Weigh foods in the state listed. For other packaged products, use the same state as their nutrition label. Follow package preparation directions and use a nonstick surface when cooking without added oil.
Calories are summed from food labels and may differ from protein × 4 + carbs × 4 + fat × 9 because of label rounding and ingredients such as fiber. Total carbohydrates are shown throughout. Product pictures identify ingredients, not photographs of the finished meals.
